Слово дня: ЖА́РКО (adv) = it’s hot

ЖА́РКО [zhárka]

Сего́дня о́чень жа́рко. = It’s very hot today.
[sivódni óchen’ zhárka]

Please note that when we want to say that something is hot (like the iron is hot or water is hot), we use another word - ГОРЯ́ЧИЙ [garyáchiy]: утюг горячий (the iron is hot), вода горячая (the water is hot).
